Product Details
The Pineapple Plant, or if you want to call it by its latin name, Ananas Comosus, is one of our most exciting, exotic indoor plants and fruiting houseplants! It is actually part of the bromeliad family and is native to the Brazilian rainforests and tropics of Central/South America. With its tough, arched, purple leaves and contrasting vibrant pineapple growing out of the middle, the Pineapple Plant will bring beauty, and eventual food, to your space!
Being that it's from a tropical environment, it thrives in moderate to high humidity, warm temperatures, drier soil, very bright indirect light to direct light for it to fruit and will grow up to 2 to 3 ft tall indoors. Its easy going nature makes it one of those plants that are easy to keep alive! Their ideal conditions make them great as windowsill plants or for a place with lots of sun as it is one of the few plants that like direct sunlight!
Plant Care Tips
Sunlight
Tolerates low sunlight or fluorescent light, but will thrive in medium, indirect light. Direct, bright sunlight should be avoided.
Maintenance
Water when top two inches of soil are dry. Water thoroughly.
Temperature
Does well at room temperature between 60°F - 77°F. Cold temperatures should be avoided.
Humidity
Prefers higher levels of humidity, around 75% or above.

How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is free for orders over $150 within the US.
Otherwise it's anywhere from $5 to $19 depending on what you order and where it's going.
International orders are set at a Flat Rate of $19 for smaller goods and $69 for larger goods. This includes tracking and insurance.
How long does shipping take?
We ship out orders within 24-48 hours after you place your order. Standard shipping arrive anywhere between in 3-7 business days, while Expedited takes only 2 business days.
Returns
We gladly accept returns of unworn, undamaged or defective merchandise purchased online for delivery that shipped to a U.S. address for a full refund or exchange within 7 days from the delivery date.
