Commonly known as the Polka Dot Begonia, this fast-growing plant is native to the rainforests of Southeast Brazil. With its breathtakingly beautiful, feather shaped, deep green leaves with white polka dots, and contrasting red undersides, the Begonia Maculata is the perfect statement plant to keep your guests talking about it for days!

Being that it's from a tropical rainforest environment, it thrives in moderate to high, warm temperatures, consistently moist, but not wet/soggy soil, medium to bright indirect light and will grow up to 2 to 3 ft. tall indoors. This makes them great to place on a desktop, bookcase, cubby or small nook in your home that is well-lit, but doesn't get direct light! Over time this plant may become leggy, but don’t be alarmed, you can easioly prune them back and it will promote new, more compact growth.
