Commonly known as the Anita cane, or Medusa plant, this easy to care for plant is native to the islands of the Indian Ocean, from Madagascar to India. With its exotic, striking, unpredictable stems and long, soft leaves it is bound to make a statement in your home, or office, leaving a lasting impression on your guests!

Being that it is from a tropical, island environment, it thrives in warm temperatures, moist soil, high humidity, bright indirect light and will grow up to 10 ft. tall indoors in these ideal conditions! This makes them great as huge statement plants in a well-lit foyer, hallway or lobby.

If you use tap water, over time this plant may accumulate salts which will lead to browning of the tips, so be sure to use distilled/filtered water, or catch your own rainwater!
