Commonly known as the Solitary Fishtail palm, or the Kitul palm, is a relatively fast growing plant native to tropical Asia from India to Java to southern China. With its extraordinary, ruffled, vibrant green leaves with jagged edges, the Fishtail Palm gets its name due to their leaves' striking resemblance to a fish's tail and will bring a tropical feel to your interior space!

Being that it's from a tropical environment, it thrives in high humidity, warm temperatures, consistently moist, but not wet/soggy soil, indirect bright light and will grow up to 6 to 10 ft. tall with a spread of 4 to 5 ft. indoors. This makes them great as a statement plant in any big, brightly lit space! Over time this plant may lose some of its lower leaves, but don’t be alarmed, this is just a natural occurrence in the plant's life cycle.
