Please don't try to grab this plant by the stalk... it has little (almost hidden) spikes that will bring you to your knees. At first glance, the plant looks just like a regular foliage plant, but wait, it's actually a type of Euphorbia which is commonly mispronounced as cactus.

The Drupiferas and many types of Euphorbia are very easy to care for, provided you have a very bright spot for the plant. The more light the better, perferably a spot with direct sun.

Water the plant when the first 3 inches of the soil is dry, that's about every 3 weeks depending on your indoor environment. This plant, like a cactus, is a pro at tolerating drought.
